Paul Kramer 1937 - 2020
Along with a career and wonderful family legacy, Paul selflessly dedicated his time for over 50 years promoting baseball for local area youth including the Dixie Area Knothole Baseball League, the Greater Cincinnati Knothole Baseball Association. Paul had served on the Kid Glove Committee in affiliation with the Cincinnati Reds for over 50 years raising funds for baseball equipment for local baseball and softball teams. Paul has two baseball fields named in his honor: Paul Kramer Field at Schmidt Field Complex on Eastern Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio and Paul Kramer Field at St. Henry High School in Erlanger, Kentucky.

As the long-time Kid Glove program director, Paul's actions made it possible for tens of thousands of kids to play ball including those in our own Finneytown community.

The Finneytown Athletic Association will honor Paul Kramer's legacy by adding a "PK" patch to our baseball and softball uniforms for the 2021 season.

About Us

cr=w_600,h_300

The Finneytown Athletic Association (FAA) Baseball league is open to all boys and girls, 3-17 years old, residing in the Finneytown School District or Springfield Township, currently attending or previously attended a school located within the district. Special considerations are possible, including if the boy or girl previously played Finneytown sports. Player eligibility and roster creation are subject to league policies.

Finneytown baseball teams compete in District 2 of the Greater Cincinnati Knothole Association. The district includes teams from, but not limited to, Greenhills, Forest Park, Reading, and Sharonville.

Our goal is to teach the basics of baseball in a competitive league play setting and to have fun. If you have any questions, please contact contact us at faabaseball@gmail.com

Who we are

The FAA is a non-profit organization focused on promoting youth athletics including, but not limited to, baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, soccer, and softball for all youth who reside or attend school within the boundaries of the Finneytown Local School District and nearby communities.

How can I help?

Did you know that there is an FAA Meeting on the second Sunday of every month?

2025 meetings: 1/12, 2/9, 3/9, 4/13, 5/11, 6/8, No July mtg, 8/10, 9/14, 10/12, 11/9, No Dec. mtg

Every month the FAA Board and FAA Sports Directors meet to discuss all relevant topics within the FAA. We are looking for more community involvement to strengthen our program and invite everyone to attend.

The meeting is held on the second Sunday of every month. It is typically held either via Zoom or in the Senior Lounge next to the MP on Finneytown's secondary campus.

The meeting starts at 7PM and is approximately 90 minutes. If you have any suggestions, questions, ideas or would just like to be involved in the future of our community, please stop by, everyone is welcome.  There is a residence open forum during the meeting which allows a resident member up to 5 minutes to address the board.
